The Accreditation Assessment Process is summarized as follows:
Stage 1: Core Values Assessment Phase
- Expression of Interest – Email or short letter explaining reason for interest
- Request for CV and References information – two professional, one personal
- Core Values Self-Assessment – Candidate’s view of the meaning and importance of each Core Value, as well as its applicability to his/her life and profession
- Core Values Assessment by References – References’ assessment of candidate’s Core Values
- Core Values Interview – Board interview of candidate, based upon CV, self-assessment and references input (conducted only if, in the view of Board members, it is warranted)
- Board Evaluation and Decision re: Core Values Assessment. Decision is made whether or not to proceed to the Key Competencies Assessment Phase
Stage 2: Key Competencies Assessment Phase
- Key Competencies Self-Assessment – Candidate’s view of the meaning and importance of each Key Competency, as well as its applicability to his/her life and profession
- Key Competencies Assessment by References – References’ assessment of candidate’s Key Competencies
- Key Competencies Interview – Board interview of candidate, based upon CV, self-assessment and references input (conducted only if, in the view of Board members, it is warranted)
- Board Evaluation and Decision re: Key Competencies Interview
- Final Board Assessment and Decision – a debrief is conducted (if desired by the candidate) to explain the Board’s decision and to offer suggestions/recommendations. The candidate is provided a written copy of the debrief notes.
- Note: Applicants from all countries are welcome to apply; however, at this stage, assessments are conducted in English only.
