Anyone who can demonstrate that they are applying CPSC Values and Competencies in their work.
John Lederach’s peace wheel gives a good indication of the many fields in which peace workers are already engaged. Formal designation as an Accredited Peace Professional is a credential that acknowledges their competency in the peace field. This accreditation is often supplementary to existing qualifications in other fields. This can help in seeking new assignments.
How To Apply
If you are interested in becoming a CPSC Accredited Peace Professional, please complete and submit the following questionnaire.
CPSC has designed a comprehensive framework and methodology for assessing, and ultimately accrediting, peace professionals. To apply, please fill out the following form.
Please note that should your application be accepted, there will be a fee of $300 (+HST) to go through the accreditation process.
Civilian Peace Service Canada (CPSC) is an incorporated not-for-profit corporation registered in October 2013 under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. It is wholly funded through contributions and supported by volunteer services.
